Barrington sounds very aristocratic. When he grows up he should make it into Yale based on his name alone. While growing up he should probably go by Barry or another nickname.

Honestly, the name Barrington sounds like a last name. I would go with the name Jack Barrington.

Barrington sounds more like a last name than a first. Jack Barrington sounds like a complete name more so than a first and middle name. I'm not really liking Barrington as a name. I know it is spelled differently but it reminds me of the Bernstein Bears.

Where in the world did you get the name Barrington??
Not a fan of that name. I would definitely NOT use it for a first name, but as a middle name it's not bad.
Jack Barrington sound OK. I would go with that one. Don't put Barrington for the first name. Doesn't sound good.

I think Jack Barrington is better; Barrington is only good for a first name if you're a teddy bear. But Barrington as a middle name is kinda cute!

I'm not personally fond of the whole last-name-as-a-first-name trend. Barrington is meaningless- it sounds like a corproration. In fact- it is!

He'd be called Barry anyway.
Unless Barrington has some special meaning, or is an old family surname, I'd say it sounds too much like something out of a romance novel.

I LOVE THAT NAME! It reminds me of the name Remington which I also love. It sounds classy, old-fashioned, and strong! Use Jack as the middle name, your son will always have that unique name if his first is Barrington. Congrats!
By the way don't listen to the people who are saying bad things about it. I'm naming my little girl Addison which is originally a males name, there is nothing wrong with being different.
