They would be arrested. Don't know if it is a felony, but it is a serious charge.

Oh, silly computer guy, what would happen if anyone publicly threatened anyone else? It becomes a police matter.

Disagreeing with statements and actions is one thing, so I for one will leave threats of bodily harm to those who don't believe strongly enough in their own views, and pretend to be Americans. There are thousands who want any political leader of any persuasion out of office. In America, we do that with the vote.

If you publicly threaten the presidents life you would be in serious hot water. To just be talking to a friend you would probably be pretty safe unless they called someone. Threats against the president would not be wise in this time since the USA is dealing with terrorists. They are considered extremely serious.

For the reason that the majority of ppl now want nothing more than that to happen, I would say not much. They would not be taken seriously, then someone who is serious would then accomplish that. That or they would be taken to the top secret security prisons that are not all that secret anymore and killed executioner style.

If it was like a public announcement, like IF you said in a big rally that you were going to kill the president yourself, he (the president) could press charges because you're making threats. Thats what i think would happen, again thats what I Think..

They would get a visit from some very nice people who would question them. The fact that you used some key words in your question, you may be a lucky recipient of such a visit.

There would be 1,000 or so CIA and Secret Service members visit them and haul them off to the Greybar Hotel.

i dunno but i do know people are paid to/it's their job to keep an eye out for talk like what you said, or on wire taps in general places--they specifically look for these things being said....but i think it's safe to say you might be facing the death penalty, and seeing as our currant prez is from Texas well....you get the idea!! Anyone who commits murder with the intent to do so should fry though my pers opinion!!!

They would be locked up; and rightly so. I don't like the man, but killing him is NOT the answer. Vote him out of office.
