Its amazing how he went from a character like in Fast times to what he does now. He's great.

I think he's been a gifted actor since he's been on screen - so I enjoy watching his films from the 80's and now. I love a movie he's in called "Bad Boys" from the early 80's and I love "Dead Man Walking" from the mid 90's - those are my Penn favs.

Sean Penn is a tremendous actor, whose worn on me over the years. It's not the best film he's been in, but I really enjoyed Penn's performance in the Woody Allen film "Sweet and Lowdown."

yes, he's an excellent actor. He was fabulous in Mystic River.
