I once almost lost a good friend because I was too blind to see how I had hurt the person...but my eyes were opened...does that count?

Yes. Get close to a turned on light bulb. You will be able to see it, although not too clearly.

I can see light through my eyelids, so if something changes the light, then yes.

u can see the endless darkness though.
and then suddenly u will see some irregular or defined shape.
