Go talk to your high school guidance councilor or career adviser. They ought to be able to give you some info on scholarships that you may be eligible to apply for. Or you can also get online and do a scholarship search, but I never found those to be particularly helpful. The sooner you start, though, the more chance you have of getting a good one.

First you apply for FAFSA and complete the form and submit it. From that form, then you can start looking for College Scholarships -- and I'd start first with the College where you are accepted and know you will attend.

Go to your local public library and ask the REFERENCE librarian for COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS books.
You will have more information than you know what to do with it.
