Which one should i get? i really don't know, i like the nano because its small but i like the video because it can obviously play videos but its big.....ALSO...when you download a video from the iTunes store...how long does it take to download?

Really depends but hear is some quick prompt questions.
What will you be doing with, how would it be convenient to have smaller package or inconvenient to have a larger one?
IF you have more than 2,000 songs do you need all of them all the time or are you willing to swap out?
Do you really want to be able to view videos and pictures (better)?
Videos take about 30 mins or more on a high speed connection, anything like DSL lite will take longer and dial up is not an option. Pricier for the nano 8 GB (only in black) and Ipod video 30 GB are the same personally for just music 4 GB is more than enough (colored nanos)

Get a Nano. they are smaller, and extra properly-known. Video iPods are extra constructive for those that watch movies and have a extensive music and video library. An iPod Nano is great for smaller libraries. they are additionally skinny and small.

ipod video and only get the 30 gb since i have like 20 movies and a bunch of other videos and over 1,000 songs and i still have 6 gb left

depends, if you have under 2000 songs, get the new 8gb nano. but if you have over 2000, get the 30gb video. i have the video and i love it!

the batteries doesn't last long for nano. my nano battery only lasted for 2 days and i have to recharge it
