Goldfish are coldwater fish and do best at temps of around 60-65 degrees farenheit.
Don't forget to do your regular (weekly) partial (30-40%) water changes to keep you fish healthy and happy. This is a very important part of fishkeeping.

Goldfish are pretty adaptable to temperature - just don't have them in extreme cold or heat and they should be fine. By size 10 tank do you mean 10 gallon? If so that is only big enough for 1 goldfish FYI. 10 gallons per fish when talking about goldfish.

Chillers are acceptable with goldfish, since they like low seventies, high sixties. Goldfish are not suitable for a ten gallon, though. They require at least 20-30 gallons per fish, depending on the species.
As stated by another member, remember to keep up partial water changes, but with goldfish, seeing as they are such amonia producers, try 50% per week. Don't forget to give them a varied diet, instead of just normal fish food.

first off, it wont take long for a goldfish to out grow that tank. goldfish grow to over a foot long. you're is a little baby right now. Room temperature is fine, keep the tank away from direct sunlight. Use a filter and change the water occasionally to keep everything clean. Feed every other day.

Goldfish do not need a heater. They are fine at room temp. If you add a heater, they will put out more ammonia because their metabolism will speed up.
