It's not really a triangle. The theory is that once we have sorted out our basic needs (food water, shelter etc.) we then start to look towards higher needs ( possessions, entertainment), and when they are sorted out we look for still higher needs, and so on.
Known as the heirarchy of needs

Are you talking about Maslows hierarchy of needs? It stands for the order we value things like water, food shelter..... The things we need to live and the things we want like acceptance.

are you asking cos you want to know? or cos you want to see if others know? In which case, perhaps you should look to see just where you are right now within the hierarchy!!
