Give me a break...Why in the world would you want to go topless in public place unless you are a ho wanting to flaunt yourself. Men can't even go into public places without a shirt...NO SHIRT, NO SHOES, NO SERVICE. Actually, in my old office, there where a couple of gals who wore so little that you cold see their nipples, (they kept trying to out do each other until one was finally sent home to change), but the men where required to wear shirts and ties. At High scale night clubs, men are required to wear Jackets, but women prance around in halter tops and mini skirts. Boobs and butt cheeks bouncing all over the dance floor. Men just naturally have more respect for themselves than most women.

Well, I guess you CAN, but then the Indecency In Public charges would start adding up, wouldn't they? Being a male, I suppose I could not be more supportive of your urge to be free in this way. But maybe it's not "society's rules" so much as car insurance companies. If women went topless, think of how fender bender incidents would escalate to astronomical proportions....

Rules and regulations are made for our mutual and collective benifits, and in this case of being shirtless , it is for the safety of girls and women. And any true religion prevents women to expose themselves thus getting the due respect for them.
And respect given to a woman is the most in Islam, believe me!
Woman feels respected and protected under the roof of Islam but Islam do have boundaries and that is for safety of a woman and prevention of spreading lust all over.

because most men, in America, would not respect that women have their own individuality, and are not all after them! And, would simply make sexual inuendos, outright sexual advances, ogle at them, and overall; disrespect the woman.
And, women would just be ridiculed, and ostracized, for being so bold as to believe their bodies are ok, (off limits - unless invited) and the whole idea has been so bullied, battered, beaten down, most women would be afraid to go topless.

I agree with you. The more that women think of themselves as nothing more than pieces of meat and sex objects, the more fun we guys can start having.
