well...for this question there are many answers...for example..religious people who lead a solitary life dedicate it to their gods and their purpose is to find their trueselves, to find a new sense for life besides this "matrix" in which we are currently living, a spiritual bond between them and the supreme force....but usually people who are solitary dedicate their life to knowledge, understanding and the finding of their spirit...they don't hang out with other people cause....we live in a material world...we obey rules...but they obey their own rules...no strings attached

To search for that one other single, solitary individual, that one person in all the Universe who can, by a simple touch, a quiet word, suddenly take the pointlessness of lives lived at random and make it all seem to matter, even if it is only to hold hands and look out at the emptiness that always seems to surround love.

purpose pends on what your perspective of what life is meant for you. or what you hold most dear.

lime some that chose to live life in a cycle of that can be detrimental to them

or others that seek money to achieve a higher status

others seek a higher purpose that niether man or government know of or how to attain, which seem to be few when talking numbers.

the purpose is to find what fits you and to enjoy life, live and exprience what others fail to see.
live the beauty of everything learn to be more to others then what you wear on your back or have in your wallet.

learn to see inside of others and not the husk in which we inhabit.

seek to evovle more with the sould the heart and mentaly increase the capacity of all that you see in the mirror to what you see is beyond what stands in the mirror for there truley is everything.

The answer is very basic. Survival of the species.
Be fruitful and multiply. That means you, me, everyone.
And not just humans, but all living creatures.
As far as humans are concerned, we are murderers. We killed our way to the top of the food chain. That's how we survive, we eliminate our opposition and that includes ourselves. All the while we are making more of ourselves. Power in numbers. And not only that, if we make just a whole bunch of us, then some of us just gotta make it through the struggle.

I am not certain if I really understand your question as you intended, but just imagine the world without Mahatma Gandhi, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela.

One life can change the world.

well, if you believe the sometimes-impressive messages that have been recieved via mediums, and from people that have come back from the brink of death (NDEs), then we are here to learn, and to grow in love and knowledge. The lessons that we need vary from soul to soul, and some lessons are best learnt alone.

To bring glory to God and enjoy him for eternity.

I think Thomas Equines or some other famous theologian said that.
