They want to go the route of the paper receipt for the slot machines
I think that's a awful way to go- that's why Ive chosen to go to Motor City Casino instead of MGM- I like the tink, tink, tink noise of winning
I do understand the need to save $ from employee benefits, insurance.. etc
But, still its not the decent thing to do
I will not be going to that casino any more after they do the lay offs

You would think a company with those kinds of profits could find a way to retrain and keep their workers. Or at least try to place them with the other casinos.

I'd think it would make more sense to keep on workers that they don't need so they can pay out huge amounts of money in payroll for work that wasn't done.
Gee, what could they be thinking?
What if other businesses decide to work on increasing their bottom line? Gasp! They might become profitable!

Things are a little tough in Detroit right now...be when things turn in the auto business and they always do...it'll be boom time again in Motown. Been through a couple of these myself. Hold on and it always seems to pass. Keep the faith in Motown...and what choice do you really have?
