Select your data range, then click on the Chart icon (looks like a bar chart) in the toolbar. If you don't see the icon select "Insert / Chart".

When the dialog box appears, select your chart type, then click "Press and hold to view sample". Repeat as required to select the desired chart type. Click Next.

Review the Data Range settings and make sure it is displaying the chart as desired. Click "Series in Rows / columns" (one or the other) to see the differences. When you are happy, click Next.

In the Chart Options screen fill in the blanks as required (like "Chart Title", "Category X Axis name", etc. Go through all the tabs and select any desired options. Usually the default values / selections are fine. Click Next.

Select whether you want the chart on the current sheet, or in a new sheet, then click Finish.

When the chart is created, you have a number of options. You can resize it by grabbing and dragging the handles on the edges with your mouse. You can right-click on various parts of the chart and choose the menu options, review the values / settings etc.

When you're satisfied go to "File / Print / Print Preview" and set up your page range, orientation (portrait or landscape) and other options like headers and footers.

You're all set.

If all else fails while you're in Excel, press the F1 key for help. There are also a lot of sites on the internet that have Excel tips.

Good luck and hope that helps.
