Go to a parts supplier and ask for a “condenser”. It should have a base mount and a single wire with a lug on it. Mount the condenser to the alternator and the wire with the lug to the out put of the alternator and that should take care of the noise of the alternator when it is generating. The condenser charges on the positive pulse of the alternator and discharges when the alternator is on the negative pulse, this flattens out the sine wave of the alternator and makes the noise almost non existent.

Depends what type it is and where it is to be located. Read the instructions that come with the suppressor. Put it in the wrong place and things might smoke. Good Luck. Pops

you mount it to the alternator then the wire needs to go to the ground side of the alternater. you may also have to have one on your distributor. a good ground from the engine to the chassis should knock out any radio static you have.

Some work in-line others work between output and ground.
