November 19th, the Wii will hit the US stores. $249.99 is the price. It will include the system, one controller and Wii Sports video game. The game has Golf, Baseball, Bowling, Tennis and Boxing. Nintendo launched www.wii.com to show the launch info. www.ign.com and www.gamespot.com have good info also. Let's all wait patiently, if that's possible!! lol

Yes, I know when, it's being released 11/19/2006. That's for North America. Other release dates are December 2 in Japan, December 7 in Australia and New Zealand, and December 8 in Europe.

There is a lot of good information on it at the link below:

It depends on where you live. Sales will begin on November 19th in America, a smidge later in Japan, and before the end of the year in Europe. The announced price in the U.S. is 250 dollars, and they have anticipated that at least 30 different games will be on sale before the end of the year, and of course it plays all the Gamecube games out of the box. It will come packaged with one set of controllers and a collection of five Wii sports games on one disc.

It's amazing how all the third-party developers have jumped on board the whole Wii thing. I could give you a list of quotes, but suffice it to say that many major development studios are wildly enthusiastic. Expect a lot of games that take advantage of the unique control system.

Hope that helps!

No, you are able to purely use a game cube controller for game cube video games, because it has buttons the classic controller would not. although, game cube controllers could be picked up for extra or less £5/$10 at a close-by game shop or someplace like Amazon. desire this helps, Tom.
