the entire movie was heart wrenching, but the scene with the beautiful little girl in the red coat and then the subsequent scene later on when you learn what became of her,was upsetting to me.

The entire movie made me cry. I finished a box of tissues.

That scene that you described is honestly one of the saddest scenes I've ever seen, but I think another sad scene is when they all line up to place stones on Schindler's grave. Its bittersweet because you think of the millions of Jews who didn't survive and that makes you sad, and you think of Schindler's courage and the fact that his actions saved all of the Schindler Jews, and remember the Talmudic phrase, whoever saves one life, saves the world eternal.

The part right near the end where Schindler mourns the people he couldn't save - possibly the same one you're thinking of. It was heartbreaking.

That's exactly the scene I was thinking of!! It really made me cry. The little red coat in the pile of bodies is also quite something.

Well, by far the most touching part was when this guy next to me started feeling me up. I was a young boy then, and he was a priest.
