my sister has recently been thru a breakup (wit a guy) and now her and her "best friend" are acting strangly they are permanently holding hands and spending alot of time alone together. they hav forgotten about evryone except each other. they r planning their life together like holidays and uni but hav only known each other 4 a year....they cuddle on the couch and grab each other evrytime they laugh. they also dirty dance together and grope each other. evryone is worried about them.the best friend also worryingly gets bored of guys in a matter of days.

It shouldn't matter if she is or not. I hope you don't judge her any differently if she is. Maybe she's just experimenting - you don't know unless you try, right?

My sister is 23 years old and has never brought home a boyfriend in her entire life. Even though she's about 25 lbs overweight, in my opinion she has a pretty face and a great personality so I've ruled out the whole poor self esteem issue because I don't think she has one. What she does have though is a best friend that I personally think she is a bit too close with. They are with each other 24/7 and she is involved in every aspect of my sister's life. When she sleeps over she sleeps in the same bed with my sister and every time they are alone in the house the bedroom door is always closed and locked. She always calls me on my cell phone asking me peculiar questions like, "When are you coming home?" or if I'm home "What time are you leaving?" I haven't seen them kiss or anything but I've never seen two people attached to each other like this. They talk like a couple, they act like a couple, they even argue like a couple. Is my sister a lesbian or am I over analyzing this thing?

Perhaps her "best friend" is taking advantage of her. Being through a break-up is a very emotional situation. Maybe the best friend is a lesbian and is trying to convert your sister. Stranger things have happened. However, don't stress on it. People at one time or another in their life question their sexuality. Maybe this is your sister's time. Would it really be a big deal if she is a lesbian? Would you love her any less because of her sexual preference? If you are true to yourself and believe in the sanctity of sisterhood, then whether she is a lesbian or not, it won't matter. Just be there for her. That's what sisters are for. I know. I have the greatest sister in the world.

Their lesbians it's that obvious that they are because their cuddling and holding hands and doing all the things couples do. Your sister might be bisexual and her friend is lesbian. Love her anyways.

It seems like she just may be, but even if she is does it really matter? She is your sister and will be forever, will it make a difference to you if she is a lesbian or not.
