I think it's really weird to say that a girl is "latino" instead of saying that a girl is "latina". If you want to use a foreing word use it properly or don't use it, please...
The spanish meaning of latino does not means someone that speak spanish, but someone that speak a latin language (spanish, portuguese, french, italian, romanian...).
