I have just been dreaming about surfing ( on sea waves ) , it was very vivid. I was being chased by somebody but managed to evade them by my superior surfing skills.

I have never surfed, and I do not take drugs, except nicotene and a little alcohol.

I once had a dream about flying in a wooden boat in Japan

Maybe your mind is telling you that you need to be at peace more. I have always thought of surfers as quite relaxed and peaceful people. Surfing usually takes place in breezy places which are good for your health and clear your head. When you say a little wooden boat in Japan, it to me, conjures up quite a tranquil image in my mind.

As for your surfing dream, maybe it is saying that you need to 'go with the flow' a bit more. Just go with what is happening in your life, like you would go where the waves take you in the dream. Maybe you have a problem or something that is dogging you (symbolised by the person chasing you) but by going with the run of things, rather than forcing something to happen, it gets sorted.

The bottom line is that you avoid something negative, so in the end there is nothing to worry about.

well what i have read about dreams is that its is 1 of two things. When we are asleep we gather all information that basically has no use to us and we go through a process of dumping it. The dreams that we experience is the moment we wake up and we catch a part of that dump in which we were making. The other theory is the opposite and that we are actually embeding these mish mash of thoughts and expieriances into our brains. Also have you ever thought how long a dream lasts? you may think that they last for a while but it is said that they last for seconds. I have reason to beleive this as i have expierienced this myself. Have you ever dreamt something has fell on you like a shelf only to be woke up at that exact same time because something has actully fell on you. I never thought much of it untill i read about people having the same thing happen to them. I think the greatest invention ever would to be able to record our dreams. We would get some of the greatest movies ever,

Being chased = being criticized or disciplined by high authority
sea waves = problems, sudden changes.
superior surfing skill = confidence boost

You may be having some difficulties in life and you are also being criticized. You projected sea waves and being chased in your dream to show you that you subconsciously try to avoid the problems. Somehow you have confidence to over come the difficulties. (that is what superior surfing skills symbolized) This dream just explain your current situation in life

From what I've read about dreams, water represents the emotions. For instance, if you were drowning in a tidal wave it would probably mean that you are being overwhelmed by your emotions. Also, the clarity of the water has a meaning.

i do no longer positioned lots advantage in dream books or 2d-hand dream interpretation yet I had a dream of snakes popping out of my abdomen which scared the hell outta me. Had an extremely uneasy feeling approximately my wellness so I went to the known practitioner. grew to become out i replaced into quite sick. no longer saying 'bypass to the known practitioner, you're sick!' No, i'm saying attempt to earnings the emotions around the dream. in case you have/had any concerns on the subject of something- your self, a chum, a undertaking on your existence- perhaps you are able to desire to take a closer look at it. desires are the subconscious communication between our bodies and our minds, you are able to desire to learn what the climate recommend to you as someone earlier you are able to comprehend the message.

Dreams are the way thru which our subconscious sends us messages and lets us know what's really going on in our deeper-selves.

Dreaming of water (be it the sea, or rivers, lakes, glasses of water...anything) is related to FEELING.
In your dream you are surfing on your feelings but something scares you about them (the person chasing you).

Dreams are generally your brain sieving through the days events. Maybe during the day you were trying to avoid something!

Dreams - seem to mean many things.
Mostly they seem to be the 'Imaginery actualizations of our adventure-spirit or whatever we want to be or do - as when we are in a half-wakeful state of mind.
