Hmmm. My theory, it's down again so Bush can justify war against Iran. Once he manages to get enough allies to invade, the price will be right back up.

It is still over $2 a gallon in a lot of places in Ohio and Kentucky. I know that the prices are going to go up again, but I also know that the military is testing a coal to oil program and if it works it would make the US self sufficient and we would not need to depend on Iran, Iraq, Venezula, Russia, etc and it would also lower the price of gas to $1 a gallon - go to www.glennbeck.com and check out one of his interviews with the President of Jet Blue, it is an awesome interview.

I can remember when it used to only be 1.79, all the time. That was before or around 9/11. Sigh...the good ol' days. Unfortunately, I don't think gas prices will stay below 2.00 for very long.

Be glad you don't live in Hawaii. Gas is at $3.14 per gallon. And the price is still pretty high in some western states too.

You should be happy for now. Yes, gas will go back up eventually, so you should enjoy the $2 or below prices where ever you can.

Under $2 a gallon? Where do you live? I’m still at $2.79 here in Littleton. And no…you shouldn’t be happy. They are gouging us and they know it.

You should be happy because a lot of us are still paying more. It's $2.25 here. It will go up before the holidays.
