Why do some people feel dreams HAVE to mean something and why do some other people feel that horoscopes HAVE to be correct? I just don't get why you'd want to spend time on trivial things...
How do you feel about dreams and horoscopes?

One word that could explain this situation is "Superstition". People want explaination all the time. It bugs people if they cannot find the answers right?( not to everyone), Talking about horscopes is sorta like a person's belief, to some could be a relegion. I personally do not believe in dreams, it's like sometimes your mind can fool you around. Horoscopes?.... I kinda like anemation but no... lol!!! It's too superstitious for me to believe in.

I think sometimes dreams are just excess energy from the day. If you had a real busy day, or a real energetic day you might have a dream around that and it really have no meaning at all.
And horoscopes, I like to read them at the end of the day to get a laugh to see how close or how far off mine was, I don't believe in them.

OK so why do people think that their dreams have meaning? Well, and speaking from personal experience, I have had many dreams that brought an understanding of a certain situation during many different times of my life. It is also a proven scientific fact that dreams are the sub-conscience mind relaying help, to the dreamer to cope with their fears, and stress or to prevent anxiety! But, dreams can also come as a warning or message if you will from another part of our sub-conscience usually referred to as you sixth sense. Everyone has it most do not know it or do not want to know or won't accept it as fact. You should try being more open minded to the unknown and expand your potential!
As far as the horoscopes go most of them are bull when you are reading the ones that are tailored only to the sun sign, (like the ones you find in your local newspaper) but, astrology makes more sense then you think! If you had your personal horoscope tailored just for you, ( with all of your planetary positions, ascendants , & houses, not just your sun sign), daily it would make change your mind.

Dreams will tell you a lot about yourself if you investigate them, and a lot about reality, but they are only another process to be observed like a heartbeat or a breath. You don't have to be superstitious about it, be scientific!
Horoscopes are rubbish, astronomy is scientific. Even so, people like to be comforted and so look for the easy way in many things.
Look into lucid dreaming. Start by writing down your dreams in a journal every morning and your dreams will get clearer, and you will understand more about your crazy brain! :)

dreams or something that everyones has. there ts a meaming that people work for. whe n people 's have a dream they or working really hard they want something in live i have dream and am trying really hard to make them happened i thought that dreams will never come true but i was wrong i was bron with the best family i ever need and i only ask to live a lot and have heath . do you have dream's ??

I know dreams do have meaning to ones self, discovering what they mean can only be determined by the dreamer.
I beleive horoscopes are a bunch of baloney.

I look everyday at my horoscope. But I do not put alot of faith into it. I take some things away from it. The horoscopes that are in the paper and on the computer are made for a variety of people. I just do not put a lot into them.

I don't really care. My dreams are blank. And my life has been prefect even though I've never read a horoscope.

Just because they are lonely and want answers without talking to people.
Perhaps they don't have anyone close to ask so they seek other sources......without someone being critical or making fun of them.
