i love phantom of the opera... have heart theme from schindlers list... i also like secret garden a lot. any other recommendations?

It is by Nathan Shirley, I actually got to hear him play this song one time in a concert he gave!!!

It is one of the most gorgeous things I've heard. I think it is a lot like Beethoven, and maybe some Russian stuff, but newer sounding.

If I was better at the piano I would play this all the time! (it is a little to hard for me though) :(

Based on your favorites, I think you would really like the soundtrack to the movie "The Piano" with Holly Hunter. Most of the soundtrack is solo piano and it is "haunting."

don't know what it's called but there's a beautiful haunting piano theme at the beginning of Nic Roeg's classic, 'Don't Look Now'. it seems to miss a note at the end effectively filling you with dread and preparing you for what comes next...

love it!
