Actually I consider two items to be outstanding in this catageroy.. The Flymo lawnmower this lawn mower was supposed to float on a cushion of air, and the Flowbee hair cutting system which was powered by a vacumn cleaner.

the ding king, for removing dents from your car, it ranks right up there with the auto hammer someone already mentioned. The edger paint roller is a piece of junk too.

I was given this stupid hammer that you load nails into the handle of it and they were supposed to come out under the head ready to be set. I don't know who took that thing from me but I loved to load that sucker up in front of the new guy. I t never actually worked.

doh its that litlle kizmo they sell for making clean caulking lines with silicone jeesh a wet finger works much better

I THINK DIY VIDEOS BECAUSE THEY USUALLY ONLY SHOW ABOUT HALF OF WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AND LEAVE YOU WONDERING ABOUT THE REST.
