I mean the usual classic instruments being used.... It bores me shitless.

A great example is Lord of the rings, Its music is far too over fetched.

If you think the Lord Of the Rings soundtrack is boring (the Return of the King soundtrack is amazing, in my opinion) try listening to the Gladiator soundtrack. There are unusual Middle Eastern instruments, mostly woodwinds, that set it apart.

Or you could just watch Jackass 2.

Depends if I am actually engrossed in the film or not. If my hubby is watching a film and I am on the computer it really winds me up.

The clock on the programme 24 really winds me up.

I find the music can really unsettle me if I am not actually watching the film and if I notice it in a film then the film wouldn't get watched again.

At the very beginning of the Lord of the rings this sappy music is playing as your introduced to the Shire, and just when you think it's over, Gandolf taps on Bilbo's door and the crap starts up again. I think it's over done too.

i disagree with you,the music in lord of the rings fits perfectly,what about the music of star wars episodes 1,2 & 3?
choral pieces for low action scenes.

Oh now a person after my own heart, the worst is it is much louder than the rest of the film , really puts me off.
