i have recently started to get pop-ups that say i have visited innapropiate sites....when i havent....they pop up a lot and are annoying....has anyone got these ro know a way to get rid of them....on my compueter i run SBC yahoo DSL internet explore and mozilla firefox

i use spybot search and destroy and it doesnt detect anything

get a pop-up blocker from yahoo.it's free but not every pop-up can be blocked.

Pop ups are a sign that your PC is infected with spyware.

After your PC is clean then install a pop up blocker. Yahoo has a free blocker
toolbar.yahoo.com
Google also has a free blocker.

run a scan for virus and spyware/adware in the comp..
then go to internet options where by to have to go to the option privacy.. put the pop up level to medium or medium high and also there is an option there to block the pop ups.. check the box for this option then click on apply and ok..
if u dont have the antivirus/antispyware/antiadware..
