I agree that Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc. are the best bets for discounts. Loehman's is good too if you want to shop and try a bunch on.
You can also look at this site:

they have all the latest styles and they'll tell you what works with your body type. Then you can look online for jeans that you KNOW will fit. You can find lots of discounts online at places like bluefly.com, shopbop.com and ebay.
Oh--and I have found fantastic jeans at Target for about $20!

Go to "Off 5th," it's Saks Fifth Avenue's outlet, you can get really nice designer jeans (Dolce & Gabbana, Rock & Republic, Paper Denim, Juicy Couture, etc.) for up to 80% off retail, just because they're from last season (big deal, like a few months difference). You can search for an outlet near you on the link I posted. Nieman Marcus also has an outlet called "Nieman Marcus Last Call," I got an amazing $800 Chanel polo there for about $100 bucks, but they don't have as many outlets... But if you want something cheaper, but still nice, Costco actually gets nice Calvin Klein jeans every once in a while for about $20 bucks, and Target has some really fashionable stuff nowadays for as low as $20 too. But your best bet is Off 5th, I love that place.

Get over the idea that your jeans need to be a certain brand. There are jeans that cost $20 that are every bit as good as those that cost $100....the difference....THE LABLE.
Learn to feel comfortable in whatever you wear. Being able to afford $100 jeans does not make you better than someone who can only afford $20 jeans.

I go to Hollister, American Eagle, and Abercrombie & Fitch for my jeans. They can be kinda expensive if they aren't on sale (AE you can get them for 40 or less anytime though), but if you wait til theyre on sale you can get really cute jeans for $30 or $20. Hope this helps!!

if you want the abercrombie & fitch look, or the AE look, just buy a pair a regular jeans ( anywhere) at a price you think would be best, then go crazy. rip the knees and bottoms, adn dot with bleach. fast, cheap, easy =D
