One important thing: Make sure she doesn't have to cook dinner! Take her out! I personally don't like getting flowers. They just wilt and die. Get her 2 cards: one silly, one romantic. Gift suggestions: Any piece of birthstone jewelry, a day at a spa, a coupon book (made by you) ie: this coupon good for an hour long bubble bath, this coupon good for a half hour massage, etc. If she likes books, music, or movies, give her a gift certificate.

:-) TCH TCH TCH for waiting until the last minute. It depends on how important birthdays are to her, as opposed to Christmas, Valentines Day etc... The gift is not really the important part to most women, what we like is to know you put thought into it. WE like to know that even when we are not there with you, you are thinking about us. here's an idea ... you sneak up behind her and give her a little hug and smooch then you say "honey, your birthday is on Monday what would you like to do?" This let's her know you remembered and that you want to do something special with her. As for the actual gift I think something small that is personal and a sweet card would be fine. A locket with a picture of the two of you or a picture frame with that same picture. Flowers never hurt especially if they are sent to her work or home if she is a stay at home mom (best when sent first thing in the morning). The flowers will make her smile and think of you. Come home with a cake that says "Happy Birthday ________" Good Luck :-)

Flowers, a cute card, dinner at a nice restaurant, a gift certificate to a spa. Women love that kind of stuff and so will your wife.

I like the idea of dinner and a necklace and of course an evening of love making with me(if I was the birthday girl) getting all the attention and not having to worry about giving it.

Buy her some kind of night Spa deal. That way She is gone and you can watch Monday Night Foootball and not get in trouble. Thern when she comes home you can have sex!

Well has she hinted on anything that she specifically wants because if she has then get her that if not surprise with something unexpected and romantic. Flowers, dinner and a beautiful gift.

Women always love jewelry and you don't have to spend a lot. Pick out a pair of costume jewelry earrings you'd like to see on her and that might go with one of her favorite outfits. It will show your taste, style and sense of caring about how she looks when she's out with you.
