I have been given a link over msn to a site, www.IM-name.com, but I suspect it contains a key logger or something similar. How can I find out? Is there an online tool that I can use to check it out?
Thank you in advance :)

A key logger works on your computer, and you can catch it with various virus/malware detection software like VirusScan or Spybot. A web server MUST log your keystrokes in the sense that it's the only way to accept input from you. There's no way to detect what the web server will do with your input. It may very well log your input permanently in a file, or it may just flush the data from memory when you disconnect.

If you have to ask the question, you should probably just avoid it in the first place. If visiting the site in question is a necessity, then I suggest setting your firewall (whatever program you may be using) to notify you of all activity (even safe) between your computer and remote systems. Try a few known "safe" sites to set a benchmark, and then visit the target site. Check out the activity going on and see if anything abnormal is trying to get a jump on you.
