My middle son wanted to be career Army and was fresh out of boot-camp when the horrific and heroic events of 9/11 took place, he and his platoon were sent there ASAP when he was only 19. He and a NYC police officer were helping those trapped in the rubble to get out when a wall caved in, the older police officer shoved my son out of the way and died in that cave in. My son's left leg was crushed, but he lived and gained a purple heart before an honorable discharge. To this day that police officer's family will not let us know his name, (Or theirs) they say he died as he lived, serving and saving others and would not want even a posthumous thanks for saving our son's life. To us, he is an Angel. I thank him daily in my heart and in my prayers. I hope this made sense, I've cried throughout this telling. I also lost a cousin on the first plane to hit the WTC that awful day. 9/11 is a day this family will NEVER forget.

I was shopping at tesco late on a Friday night and i dropped £70 and about 20 minutes later when i realized that i had lost the money i asked the guy that was working in the area where i thought to have i lost it and he said without question that i must speak to the manager because he handed it in there, now that is amazing because he could have kept the money for himself and how to you say thank you for something so kind of him.

My bank had sent me a new debit card in the mail since my account number had been compromised. I didn't know that my old card was going to stop working on a certain date. I went to Starbucks to by coffee for myself and a co-worker and my debit card wouldn't work. While I was calling the bank a stranger paid for my coffee.

When my daughter was in preschool a teacher made her mad one afternoon and she slipped out to make her way home on her own. A truck driver spotted her trying to cross a busy street, stopped and took her to a near by place of business. He questioned her till he got my name and tracked me down to tell me what had happened so I could come and get her.
