It's not a "special occasion" kind of place, but it's what I'm craving! Should we go somewhere else?

The dinner is for you, so go where you are going to enjoy it. If you are craving Red Lobster, by all means go there! Enjoy, and congratulations on the new job.

I work at Red Lobster, their whole philosophy is to make your occasion more special. Believe me, if your server follows the philosophy, you will have a great time. The food isn't Ritz, but it's still good. And also, I have worked at five different Red Lobsters, they are the cleansest, safest restaurants you can find.

Not at all. I say it is your special occassion and you should have a say about where you want to go. But, I would recommend that you go to a Red Lobster you know and trust as I once gotten food poison from eating shrimp there.

Red Lobster has always been a "special occasion" place to me, mainly because it is my favorite place. It's your celebration, go where you want to go and don't worry about it!

Nothing 'tacky' about it....its your birthday and you should enjoy it where you want. Love Red Lobster! Of course, Joe's Crab shack may be a little more 'fun' with some great seafood.

Whose new job? Yours! If that is what you want, then why not. However it is important to be conscious of the rest of party. Your parents may not like Red Lobster...tell them to snack before you go out or order a salad.

If you want Red Lobster then you should go there. Now maybe if you had said I'm craving McDonalds and my parents are taking me there to celebrate I might advise you to go elsewhere and then go to McDonalds tomorrow.

CONGRATULATIONS

Do you have a birthday to celebrate? Or an anniversary? Or is it just Wednesday? Whatever day it is, it’s a great day to celebrate with a trip to Red Lobster. Go ahead. Indulge in all your seafood favorites, expertly prepared. After all, you deserve it.

Red Lobster is okay, but Joe's Crab Shack is better. Just my opinion. It's your celebration, go where you want to.
