i have some pretty crazy dreams sometimes and i was wondering if they are supposed to mean something?

A woman I work with strongly believes that dreams are hidden messages about your life. She studies them and analyzes them. She says that everything has a meaning if you know how to "read" the dreams.
My dreams are so silly or meaningless to me that I don't see how they could possibly have any real purpose.

Dreams seldom have any meaning. Pay attention to the feelings that you have when you wake up from the dream. These feelings will tell you more than the images that you see. Most of the time there will be no meaning. I have been to dream interpreters and what they say is usually a lot of nonsense.

Dreams are the subconscious mind working out emotions. Symbols, people, and places mean different things. A pregnant belly means emotions coming to the surface, a desert means loneliness, a city means connection to community.

some are supposed to have meaning but mostly they are to do with what you experienced through the day and it is your mind relaxing and going throughw what happend and making your bran understand what happened and make u feel better if something bad happened...
i have crazy dream too.. it usually just means i had a tiring day the day before...
my friends dreamt she killed me in a bath of boiling oil lol..
but she also dreamed she was an apple and had little baby applets!! lol
i hada dream that i was following someone.. and ended up chasing them around a mc donalds playground...
i also have dreams that people who are dead come back to life (or that they are alive in the dream) and it is them happy.. it is just me thinking that they are having a good time wherever they have gone!!! so they can be anything!!
somthings are representative of things you want or are scared of... but they aren't preminitions or anything.

I used to think they all meant something, until I started having some that really freaked me out so I did some research and just come up with a bunch of bollocks! So, I have decided that sometimes, your mind just lets go and you dream random dreams that have no significant bearing on your life. I wouldn't worry about them...

I think it means you really like the guy. Youre not going to really ditch your best friend, especially since she's so far away. That's just your minds way of telling you what you would be willing to do to spend time with this guy. So go for it.

no. dreams are made up figments in the back of your head. like for example. my mom had a dream that someone messed her hair up. she's obsessed with her hair.
