Where can i go to, with my 5 year old to learn how to pot? All the courses i have found are for adults only and there is a charge! I just want to go for the fun of it, and enjoy getting clayed up with my daughter!! We live in Islington London

Hi there

You can get resources for trying pottery and other crafts at home from the Crafts Council
http://www.craftscouncil.org.uk/education/discover.htm

They may also be able to advise on children's courses.

Museums sometimes run free workshops for children and families. Perhaps try the Museum of London at the Barbican or the Victoria & Albert Museum to see what they have on offer.

There used to be a great small independent potter - called Trident Pottery I think - near Kings Cross. It may be worth contacting them if they are still there for suggestions.

Good luck!
