Do you have to have a menstral flow? I take pills to onset it, because I am not going thru puberty on my own....My mom says that without the menstral flow you lose essential calcium that you need, and can't get from anything else. Is this true.....Will it be bad if I just quit taking the pills? I don't want to get that weak bone diease...I forget the name.

If your doctor put you on medication there is a reason for it......I know in menopause osteoporosis can be a problem but I wasn't aware that the hormones involved were an issue in puberty. I would want to know old you are, and I suggest you have your own private appt with you doctor.
