At home in my bed.
When I was an apartment manager, one of the tenants came to me one day because he was concerned that he hadn't seen or heard from his 96 year-old neighbor.
Having the master key, I unlocked her door and went in to see if she was all right. She was lying peacefully in her bed in a clean nightgown, hands folded, quite dead. I thought, what a beautiful way to die. She had been independent right to the end.

if i knew it for sure to be my last moment i would want to be free falling from the sky out of an airplane...no parachute!....but my last moment would have to occur before i hit the ground...knowing me it probably would cause i'd die of a heart attack mid air LOL
