I live in Edinburgh, its definietly not Edinburgh. Glasgow is a bigger city then Edinburgh and covers more square miles therefore it has to have more people living in it.

Searching on Yahoo it is stated that Edinburgh has a population of 450,000 where as Glasgow has a population ranging from 577,869 -629, 501.

Glasgow has largest poulation by far - almost twice that of Edinburgh which has a population of around 500,000. Try Googling the records office for exact figures but believe me I lived in both places and Glasgow is a large urban sprawl compared with Edinburgh
