As long as you have (or get) good childcare, then uni shouldn't be a problem. I have three kids and will enter second year on tuesday. Ok, they are at school, but I get afterschool care for them. If you can organise childcare to let you get to the lectures, then (if baby is sleeping thru night) then you study in the house instead of watching the telly. Its worked for me (so far!). If you have a husband, he will have to be ignored a lot so encourage him to go to the pub!! If you are on your own its actually really easy.
I wish you the best of luck for the future.

Wow, that must be hard.
Congratulations, on both the studying and the baby.
Does your uni have creche facilities? Some do.
Maybe you could study part-time or take evening classes.
You could do it via the internet.
You would probably be entitied to financial help from the government and from the uni's access to public funds. Talk to one of the counsellors in your uni, they can give you the information you need to help you find out what you are entitled to.

check out the local creche/ childcare facilities, tax credits might help with costs or talk to uni tutor.
Also, try and do some coursework a couple of hours per week at uni cos you will only get distracted when you are at home (or I do!!) and this will help you stay up to date, lastly, at home, when your baby is asleep, take the chance to rest because you need it and don't run yourself into the ground.
Family and friends may be able to help by looking after your child for a couple of hours a week - I love my wednesday night - my partner takes the baby out for a couple of hours and i get a nice hot bath (without listening for the baby waking up) then get the chance to update my college portfolio before choosing what I want on TV - then they come home.....
