Technically, downloading Win98 is not in and of itself illegal. The legal/illegal line is crossed depending on whether you are the rightful owner of the Product Key.
There is no place to download it that I know of.

Sounds as though youre sol. The one thing i would suggest would be going online and downloading it because you have a legal key for it. So I think you would probably be fine. If you really dont wanna do that, youre kinda sol. You could try calling microsoft.

If you want a legal website then you are out of luck my friend.
LEGALLY You can download anything from P2P as long as it is not copyrighted or you own it.
YOU OWN THE SOFTWARE SO THERE IS NO PROBLEM.

sorry, i can't help you because each win98 cd is tied to the key, so if you get a copy of someone else's cd, you will also need their key. i know that winxp is slow on a 98 comp, and new comps arent always an idea. microsoft quit selling win98 when winxp came out, so, i am sorry to say, but you are without a paddle

If a friend has a disc you can use that since you have the Key. Microsoft might send you a disc but I doubt it. It really is time to upgrade ya know.
