Where can you get those stones to evolve your pokemon?
(This is for my brother and google was being annoying xP)

you need to specify which stones.
while there are other places to get the thunder, water, leaf, and fire stones, the easiest place is in kanto, in the city with the big department store, and the grass gym. they are sold there, in the shop that has many floors
for the sun stone, you need to win the bug contest
the moon stone is free at mt moon, in kanto, every monday
for metal coats, you can find them on wild magnemite, or you can get one from the guy in the ship, when you bring his daughter back, or something
kings rocks can be found on wild slowpoke, and there is one within regular gameplay, i just don't remember where

I think there are two ways to get it. One, people will call you if they find one, and two, you can find it (like the MoonStone).
