You're 29 year old boyfriend shouldn't be spanking your 15 year old daughter. He is not her father, and that is highly inappropriate. As far as spanking a 15 year old, I doubt that it will have any affect. If your child is behaving so badly that the only solution you can come up with is spanking, you and your daughter may need counseling of some sort.

Oh my goodness did you really ask that question??? Now are we talking about the 29 yr old b/f spanking her or you doing the spanking? A 15 yr old will not respond to a whipping it will take other measures, but if you insist on spanking I would suggest you do it, if you let him touch her you can be in some serious legal trouble. Check out the laws in your state see what they say!!!

Yes, very inappropriate. How long has he been your boyfriend? No child at the age of 15 should be getting spanked...you should be taking away privileges. Not to mention at 15, if she IS getting spanked she could go to a school counselor and claim child abuse...and you'd be in a whole lotta SH#@ !!!

It depends on the situation and whether it is truly a last resort.
Speaking for myself, when I was 29 I would have definitely been in danger of enjoying spanking a 15 year old girl far too much.

It depends on how hard the spanking is and how bad the child was. But 15 is a bit too old for that kind of discipline. Up to 11 yeah, but after 12, it may not be appropriate.

Yes, VERY inappropriate. First, it's not his place to do that because he's not the parent and second, no 15 year old child should be spanked.

Yes that is inappropriate. He is the boyfriend. Not the mother and not the father. You are her mother. If you feel that she needs to be spanked, then it is your job as a mother to do it yourself. I bet if you told her father he would go off. What would you do if she did tell her dad? He could take her from you if he wanted. Protect your child. Stand up and be a women.

I don't believe in spanking a child, believe me, you may not think you're getting through to them but you are! At this age your daughter knows right from wrong and you'd be surprised to know of her decisions made on her own when you're not around to see them for yourself! If she's that out of hand get her in to see a councilor, but to be perfectly honest, she will only rebel if treated like an infant now! GOOD LUCK!

insists that HE spanks her? EWWWW WTF??? Run away fast! Seriously that is not in any way normal. And if he is suggesting you spank her, dont listen. Spanking a 15 yr old is ridiculous.Ground her & take away anything you possibly can! If she gets too out of control, call the police & continue to do so until they do something!
