What a tear-jerker! I knew there would be some sad event happen with the baby because ever since Abby came on that show she has not had a moment of happiness. She is one of the best characters and all she ever gets is crap. I am glad she and Luca got back together, but you have to admit he has not had a lot of happiness either.
I used to love when they would do the "miracle" shows,(usually around Christmas) where whatever the plot was, no matter how grim it looked, everything would turn out good even tho it shouldn't have. They never do that anymore, and I think it would have been good for the birth to be one of those good old "miracle" things like they used to do.
I am glad Sam gave Steve what he deserved because what he did to her was just all kinds of wrong and gross.

The only way it could have been sadder is if Luka and Abby's baby had died. They kind of hinted towards more tragedy on next week's episode. I just really hope that the baby lives and that Luka and Abby can get married. They are so great together and it is about time that two characters in love on ER had some good luck. None of them every have, except Doug and Carol, but that was the end of both of them on the show. I also was happy that Jerry lived. I was totally blown away by the ending which I will not spoil for those who have not seen it. It will be very interesting to see what happens in Sam's story line next Thursday.

No, but I am so glad that Abbey and Luca's baby didn't die. I wonder what I would have done if I was in Sam's position if I would have gone back and shot Steve or not. I feel so sorry for Alex that kid has been through so much.

I bawled my eyes out for the first 25 minutes of last night's episode. I have watched the show since the beginning and will continue watching. The episode storylines are always current and the underlying storyline will always keep me captivated.

It can ALWAYS be sadder. The fat man didn't die afterall. Cute nurse chick got a little raped but didn't die. Besides she got some revenge, although it will haunt her.

It was a very sad eposide. I was so hoping that things would turn out better for Abby......and glad that Jerry made it through surgery........funny part was when his mom went to see him after surgery......I needed that and then with Sam and the ex...........made me mad and she did a good job taking care of him....

...only if Abby or her baby...or both died. I was going to be really pissed if they had that baby die! I still love that show though. I watch Grey's too and actually thought ER was better than Grey's last night.
