I Guess I thought if I clicked on USA only questions there would only be Americans.

It's not a totally unfounded assumption. It's true that there are a significant number of posts from places other than America. However, the majority of posters seem to be younger Americans using the web to socialize.

Well to be fair, it started as a US site, although there's never been any restriction on anyone else joining. But it was officially launched in the UK about 2 weeks ago, with lots of adverts and fanfare, which just confused me as I'd already been on here for a month, but hey...I suppose it only makes a difference if you click on a country with a foerign language maybe?
