I HAVE LEARNED TO TRUST PEOPLE GRADUALLY, AS I SEE CONSISTENCY IN THEIR BEHAVIOR. IF THEIR BEHAVIOR REFLECTS WHAT THEY SAY, THEN IT INDICATES SINCERITY. ALSO WHEN I SEE SIGNS OF EMPATHY, THAT INDICATES SINCERITY.
WHEN THEIR ACTIONS GO AGAINST WHAT THEY SAY, THEN THEY ARE PROBABLY BEING DECEITFUL, AND SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED.
MAKING EXCUSES FOR 'RED FLAGS' (INCONSISTENCIES) IS A SURE FIRE WAY TO GET BURNED.

I trust my gut first in regards to trusting other people. It is almost always right. But usually, I will give my trust freely to others unless they give me a reason not to. If I get wronged or burned, then that person has to work really hard to prove to me that I can trust them again.
But I'll admit, there have been many times where something in the back of my mind was screaming at me not to trust a certain person. Usually when this happens, I am very cautious until I find out the reason why I shouldn't trsut them

I trust people on a basic level, with my basic information.
However, if I were to go onto a deeper level, I think that people have to earn my trust. I also would like to earn their trust before speaking out about anything personal.

I trust most people on minor things (asking a waiter about what is good on the specials list) even if I don't know them well.
It takes a long time to earn my trust on the big things (international policy for USA).

If I get a good "vibe" I usually trust them for the most part immediately. If they make me uncomfortable at first than no. I don't know if that's the best way or not, but I tend to think the best of people first.

I usually go with my gut. If a feel a person deserves my trust, I give it to them until I have reason not to. If someone gives me a bad vibe, I usually don't trust them unless they give me reason to feel otherwise. It's always a good idea to trust your own intuition.

they have to earn it, I have been screwed over to many times to just give trust away. If they are a good person they will stick around and show you they deserve it.

its all depending on the first impression a person gives you. take a sense of the person and go from there. once you can read the people then start handing our your trust.
