You could have a crush on someone you've never met because from afar it is pure fantasy! Since you virtually know nothing about them, your feelings definitely will change when you meet them---could be for the better; could be for the worse! Having crushes can be so much fun as long as you understand them for what they are!!!

No, I don't think it would. I am a country bumpkin who has not been using the internet for much of anything besides checking my email for over eight years, so Answers is really the first time I have been exposed to this type of interaction, and I have to say that there are many people on here who I would love to meet in person, and I don't think it would change in the least how I feel about them.

Yes! Tons of people have crushes on celebs that they have never met, some small, some extreme.
I think your feelings would only change in real life if they were not what you expected, or their personality was different (that goes for anyone, not just celebs!)

Of course it's possible, it happens all the time!!
And yes your feelings shift once you meet them, they are not who they say they are, there is disappointment and it fizzles out,
your feelings will go away.

I met my current boyfriend online before we met in person. I found him interesting and intriguing before we met...I liked him...I just didn't really know him, so I didn't have feelings for him, and now since I really know him I do.
