I live just south of Charlotte in South Carolina. I have lived in various areas of Charlotte over the past 11 years. Personally, I like the Matthews, Pineville, Mooresville areas (everything in the Ballantyne Resort area is great!). However, I found the taxes are much cheaper in SC, and it is not a bad drive up 77 North to Charlotte. Stay away from West Charlotte and everything on Albemarle Road in East Charlotte. Lots of gang violence, break-in's, etc.

i imagine Charlotte is an outstanding position for a smooth couple. there is more than a number of low-cost housing starting from houses to condos/city-houses and get entry to point houses. The pastime marketplace is positive. there is plenty to do, the sea coast and mountains are not any further to distant. more than a number of alternative youthful toddlers transferring the following and city is growing more advantageous upbeat.

Southpark is a very rich, yuppish area. There are alot of great businesses there, close to downtown, and a superb high-scale shopping mall, Southpark Mall. Plus, it's relatively safe due to the affluent residents.

There are so many nice developments down there... most of them are nice. I would travel there first to see and make your choice.
