i have a 99 bonneville that will occasionally start up, run like crap, then die, if i open the throttle it will stay running a little longer but not much longer, i have spark at all cylinders, i ran a scanner and have no codes, but if i disconnect the EGR it never has a problem but i dont know if this is causing the problem because it only dies every once in a while, i also tested the mass air flow it was good.....any suggestions?

the egr valve/sensor on those are notorious for going bad and not reading on the diagnostic also what they call the "cluster" of sensors is all the main i.e; o2sensor egr etc. can be a problem if not the problem check fuel sending unit, throttle-body, injectors, fuel filter, and timing. Those cars can be a nightmare to work on and expensive so be careful who you go to

Get the EGR checked. It's probably stuck. Does it run good when you disconnect it, Or stay running but crappy.

ECU sector P-11 Test it with a meter. If you read
1^6(-6 Dcm) it is bad, Replace the ECU and drive.
