Can somebody write me 2 paragraphs on this?

This is the part that I really cannot do and it is driving me CRAZY!!!!!!!!

Financial Information (20 pts)

A.Calculate an 8% increase in the total cost of gas. Calculate ______
a 15% decrease in the total cost of entertainment. (10 pts)

B.Write two well developed paragraphs comparing and explaining _____
the effect each change would have on your trip and budget. (10 pts)

That was the rubric to the part that I can't do. It may sound easy to all the college grads out there, but try being an 8th grader with 5 other projects to do at the moment! Even if I take a Motrin I still can't get relief from the homework that I have! Could somebody just do this one favor for me please?

Calulating an 8% increase in the cost of gas or anything else is easy. You multiply by 1.08.

If you are calculating a 15% decrease you are actually paying 85% of what you paid previously. So again we mulitply , this time multiplying the starting total time by .85

The effect each of these is going to have on your trip and budget is going to depend on how far you are driving. An 8 percent increase on a tank of gas to get a couple hundred miles is going to be easier to take than an increase on the gas prices during a cross country trip.

For the first part, just multiply the "cost of a gallon/tank of gas" (wherever you are) by .08, then add to the original cost to find the increase

then multiply .15 by the cost of entertainment (make something up like dinner and a movie and going to an amusement park or something), then subtract what you get from the original cost to find the decreased price.

Then write about how much gas would have an effect, $ per gallon, how much it would cost you to go a certain amount of miles etc. Then in the second paragraph you can talk about how the decrease of cost of entertainment made up for increase in gas prices. compare your answers to each other and make something up.
