I wish they wouldn't cancel the shows with a running plot line, at least until the story is finished. The one with the sea creatures and the kid had one - gone. The show about aliens taking over people that had Brent Spiner in it - gone. There was the one about the high school friends 20 years later and one was killed. Never got to find out who did it.
There are a couple this season that are season long shows. Kidnapped, Missing, Jericho. I hope they finish before they are cancelled.
The networks need to have some respect for it's audience.

Arrested Development was probably the best comedy to air on TV in years. It's demise is a sad testament to the shallow minded viewers who need trite pap fed to them.
I also think Freaks and Geeks should have lasted longer than it did.

Malcom in the Middle is hilarious. I wish that hadn't been cancelled. Also the X-Files. I like that show.

It seems that so many shows get cancelled almost before they really get started! I loved "What I Like About You" with Amanda Bines and Jennie Garth. I also really loved "Northern Exposure" with Janine Turner, John Corbett, and Rob Morrow. There are many shows that I wish would be cancelled like "Seventh Heaven" and "Survivor".

Joan of Arcadia - a very good but unappreciated TV show
Dead Like Me - a funny show about dead people that become grim reapers.
Firefly - great show from Joss Wheadon about a group of cowboy type smugglers in space.
