I've been a avid follower of playstation since it was brought into this world. Quite frankly SONY are pi##ing me off with all this delaying shite. Am I alone in these thoughts?
Shall i turn to the dark side with Wii, or 360?

J L, Do what I'm going to do; Im a avid Sony supporter too, but they have gone too far, I cannot wait this long! I got a Xbox 360, but wasn't very impressed with the gameplay aspects of the games, even though at some points it can be stunning. I feel The Xbox 360 is very similar to the PS3, but the PS3 odviously has afew more advanced fetures, but is also overpriced.
I am going to get a Wii, and 2 games which look too good to miss; Twilight Princess, and Redsteel. I also plan to play Wii sports with my family, so I will also be buying some more controllers.
After that, I will just see! If the PS3 looks too good to be missed i will buy it.
I doubt I will sell my Wii after that since by then there will be Metroid, Super smash bros Brawl and Mario Galaxy. Though a couple abit less mature than Twilght and Red Steel, I feel that the control is too good to be missed!

I am a hard-core Sony freak and i to was a little put off by the delays and the price with the PS3, But as i looked into it i know that Sony just wants to get all the bugs out of the system before they put it out. I think the PS3 will be worth the wait. Its 599.00 plus tax price tag is a lot of money to ask for, but it does so much more then just play games. The blue-ray DVD player cost 1000.00 bucks just by itself. The 360 has an option for hd HDTV drive but you have to buy that on the side, as well as a wire-less network adapter card. All this comes built right into the PS3, plus the PS3 supports full 1080 HDTV and the 360 only supports it up to 760, and the Wii does not support HDTV at all. The PS3 and the 360 are both 512 bits, and the Wii is only half of that. And the games for the Wii are very weak and are aimed to much at children.

Don't do it J L, stay true to playstation man. I was just like you a couple months ago. I almost bought a Xbox 360, and then I decide to just buy a PSP and wait until the PS3 come out in November and 2007. I was looking at the game console for the Xbox 360 and almost decide to just get it, but I also knew that when the PS3 comes out; I would be get it and most likely not playing the Xbox 360. I to followed Playstation since the early days of the original playstation but the overpricing of the PS3 really pissed me off and now that game developers are producing the same games on all formats pretty much I switched and got the xbox360 I can get my footy games and GTA is coming onto xbox smackdownvraw is coming onto xbox so I havent got to get PS3 just so my son can play wrestling and I get the benefit of getting halo 3 when it come out. Now all I need is Tekken to come to xbox and ill be set. PS3 is to expensive if they had priced it in the same range as the xbox360 maybe I would have stayed with sony. Oh and I gotta get a Wii although it may be the weaker of the 3 it looks damn good fun and is well priced plus you can download and play all the old Nintendo games from the original to N64 on its HDD and all the old Sega games to.

I would say the Wii, it's release on December 5th by the way. It boasts the revolutionary controler which promises an entire new way of gaming. Plus the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection means that your Wii will download updates without you having to do squat. It has a huge selection of games from Ubisofts exclusive "Red Steel" to "Super Mario Galaxy" to "Call of Duty 3". You will have the easy option to play other gamers across the world with you Wi-Fi. Battling the Aussies on Mario Kart sounds like fun to me. Over all it is the best buy of the three. And I also understand, the cheapest.

go for the 360, cheaper and so much more fabulous! think of the extra games you can buy with the saving you'd make not buying the ps3! Although saying that I'm getting the wii, all that swinging the controller about looks sooo fun. check out the nintendo wii demo videos on www.youtube.com it looks hilarious! but yeah, sony are annoying me too and they still have the cheek to charge as much!

The Wii will break the mold of the new console = better graphics loop. And to be honest, how many times can you play the same game with the same basic storyline with a few add-ons for? I'd for one rather play new games in a totally unique way.

I've a 360 and it's brill. The graphics are great same with the games. playing online is fantastic.

Wii is more of a fun thing....xBox has more features and better graphics and games!!
