Doing a nice job of it I might add .All the lemings have lined up nicely and things are looking good .
No we want a war with Iran . Thats why we are letting them run off at the mouth like we have lately to build more support .Chavez called bush the devil and no american beliefs this do we .If so we would be nuts to say so in public . This is gaining support for the invasion or distruction of the nuclear processing plant .
We will not allow any nation to threaten Israel THATS why we made them stop fighting lebanon so we can get the Iran Venezuela thing started good .COME on people lets all try to keep up .FOR the stragglers in the back Go home and stay out of this .

The President would be considered remiss and incompetent if his administration has not considered it and created plans. Please note, this does not mean that action will follow - it is just that the military should always have plans for engaging hostile nations.
The President's goal is for Iran not to pursue nuclear weapons. That is the EU's goal, that is the UN's goal, etc. The President has deferred to the EU and UN for the past few years in their pursuit of diplomatic efforts to convince the mullahs to abandon their WMD pursuits. They have failed to convince Iran to abandon nukes.
The next step is economic and diplomatic sanctions, perhaps up to and including an embargo, depending upon the level of resistance they meet. Considering Iran is feeding arms and money and terrorists into Iraq, they are already on questionable ground.
If an attack is necessary to prevent their getting nuclear weapons, so be it. It must be. A nuclear Iran is a worse scenario. They are not rational people in charge of Iran.

There will be no ground attack on Iran. Bush is more than aware that the population of Iran is very anti its own government, and it is only a matter of time before the mullahs and the regime are overthrown. The only success the current Iranian government has in avoiding the terrible situation inside Iran, is to keep its population focused on events outside of Iran. That is why they pushed Hezbollah to incite the Israelis, and that is why they are casting the US as threatening their sovernty. The US is staying away from any negotiating on nukes with Iran, so they wont be blamed for the inevitable failure of the west to stop Iran.

Bush is succeeding in sounding like he might invade Iran. Which might help him negotiate with the terrorist supporters.
He has reduced our military to the point that we cannot invade Iraq. We don't have the troops or more importantly the equipment. So whether he wants it to be serious talk or not he is bluffing.

Actually no.
They made a very rigorous attempt during the Israel/Hezbollah conflict but basically got slapped back. I think it being an election year hindered any plans for aggression towards Iran.
The backlash of popular opinion was enormously against any Iranian aggression and I think that shocked the Bush administration. I think they were expecting more support like they got for invading Iraq.
Anyways, if you look at events since then, they have backed way off of any thoughts towards attacking Iran. I actually saw Bush yesterday on tv saying, ".... we have to respect the processes of the UN..."
Now tell me that isn't a flip flop... and I have land to sell you on the Florida water.

Put it this way. No matter how much we prepare. If we attack Iran, the **** is really gonna hit the fan. I'm talking attacks on the US. Iran has long range missles with a range of over 6,000 miles. That would put them right into New York City. Not to mention the upheavel in the Middle East and the whole world.

Bush attacked Afghanistan, which was pretty much defensely against our technical military.
Bush attacked Iraq, which has been hobbled by economic sanctions and no fly zones, etc... for years and years.
Bush won't attack any country which might be difficult to defeat. That much is obvious.

Since when do you think public opinion has anything whosoever to do with what this government is going to do? They will attack Iran. When? I don't know, but it looks as if Bush might invade prior to leaving office.

a military attack on Iran will prove a much worse result (if that is possible) than the Iraq war.... much bigger country, more sophisticated weapons, there will not be a winner if that happens....
I just hope the so called world leaders can find a way to avoid war at any cost.......

I think he's trying but not succeeding. The trouble if Iran is allowed to continue with their nuke program something will have to be done and we've done a lot of talking so far.
