Do you think that ex-wives are more jealous of the new wife?

Or the new wives are more jealous of the ex-wife?
Just curious...I know there is always going to be some on either side. Just wonder what you think??

Ex's are generally more jealous. They actually hate to see their ex happy.

This depends on the situation I would guess. If the husband has a friendly relationship with the ex, the new wife may feel threatened & has every right to her own feelings but hopefully the husband would do what he could to reassure his wife that she is "The One" & has nothing to worry about. And the new wife's feelings should be taken into consideration considering she is the woman he would be currently comitted to. So if the new wife has issues with the relationship between her husband & the ex-wife, then maybe the husband needs to look hard at the situation and cut ties with the ex-wife, UNLESS there are children involved then the new wife knew this when she married him, and, well, the kid(s) NEED for their parents & even step parents to ALL get along. Now some ex-wives may be super jealous of the new wife because she may feel the husband is doing more for the new wife than he did for her. This is a difficult question to answer because of different situations.

Ex wives are not at all jealous of any new wive.
We are just so happy that the creep is now someone else's problem.

Therefore it is the new wife jealous of the Ex wife.

I think the new wife is more jealous than the ex-wife. Because for the ex-wife, the ordeal is over and there is no use crying over spilled milk and she already had accepted the fact that her marriage ended the moment her husband took another. As for the new wife she wil always be in the state of shock, suspicious and untrusting coz she never knows her husband might try doing it for the third time.

Personally, I think that new wives are more jealous of the ex-wives. Its like they can't get past the point that they were not the first, maybe it makes them feels threatened, or like they were chosen second.best. Who knows, but this is the way I have always seen it.

From my personal experience I, as the ex, was not jealous at all. They did not even know each other until after we were divorced. As far as she went, she was so jealous and resentful of me. I don't know why. My ex and I did not have kids together so there was very little contact between us. She made several comments about me to friends that my ex and I had together. I still can't figure it out.

human nature to be a little jealous on both sides - women are territorial - but i wouldn't give my ex the satisfaction of being jealous over the lucky lady that gets him - i just wouldn't want the new wife to start being a mother to my kids - that's where i draw the line.

i put my ex and his new wife who happens to be my best friend, together. i knew they were a perfect match.i still love them both in a friend kinda way no funny stuff lol but my answer is no we are not jealous of each other.good question though
