I am wanting to go to the Sunshine Coast for a holaday. Can you tell me the good things and the bad.
I am also thinking of climbing Mt. Coolum. Is it worth it??

I live at Caloundra on The Sunshine Coast, the beaches are beautiful, we have Australia Zoo at Beerwah, and god bless Steve who wouldn't want to visit such a magnificent place, Underwater World at Mooloolaba is definitely worth a look, as well as The Ettomogah Pub. Also with all the mountains we have I am sure you will have a great time.

To me the Sunshine Coast has more to offer than Mt Coolum. On the coast you can see all the areas up and down the coast and also some great places just inland from the coast as well.
If you based yourself at Maroochydore then you have acccess to Noosa, Tewantin, Caloundra, and the other beach side places and get to see Underwater World at Mooloolaba. You can then drive and see places like The Big Pinapple, The Ginger Factory, Super Bee, and into the Glass House Mountains area, all within a circle around where the coast is.
If you are flying to Maroochydore you need to change planes at Brisbane or alternatively you can hire a car and drive up (about an hour and 15 mins from the airport) or there are coaches that take you to the Sunshine caost that you catch from the Airport.

just been there it great but you must visit rain bow beach it out of this world i loved surfers paradise i am planning to move over that's how good it is
